Consulting
I provide a free consultation (up to one hour) for all new editing, writing, and research projects.
Thereafter, consulting is integrated into every project to facilitate collaboration and maximize efficiency.
I also offer a coaching option for clients who need expert advice and strategic guidance for a writing or research project.

Editing
Fluently written, error-free, and contextually appropriate content is essential for conveying a professional image and establishing credibility with an audience. My editing services are ideal for clients who want to be confident in the quality and accuracy of their written communication. I offer various levels of editing, depending on individual project needs:

-
Substantive/Developmental Editing: This process comprises a thorough analytical review of writing structure, organization, and flow to identify areas that may need extensive revision.
-
Line editing: This task involves sentence-by sentence editing to ensure grammatical integrity, consistency of style and tone, and clarity of expression.
-
Copyediting: With a focus on mechanics, this process entails identifying and correcting grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors.
Writing
For clients who need assistance with composition, I offer:

-
Cowriting for projects that require extensive revision and/or development beyond the scope of editing.
-
Freelance writing for projects requiring original written content. Content creation may involve a research component.
Research
In addition to research activities related to content creation, I offer specialized support for select research projects that fall within my areas of expertise. Support may include research, writing, and editing.
My primary research focus is onomastics (the study of names and naming practices), including personal names (anthroponyms), place names (toponyms), indigenous names, cattle brand names, and commercial brand names. My other research specializations are:

-
Linguistic anthropology
